Heather (53) and Derek (51) live in Oberursel in Germany but decided they needed to purchase an investment property in the UK for their retirement.

Mrs Edmiston said: "My husband’s work as a systems engineer brought us to Germany nearly 12 years ago. We love living here and travelling around the country but we do intend to return to the UK for our retirement.
