When Julia Scott and her family went on the hunt for a new property, they found their dream family home at the Kingsmeadow development, just a few minutes from the doorstep of their old home in Peebles.
Already on the property ladder, but looking for their next step up, the family got more than a helping hand when they bought a brand-new home from Bryant Homes at Kingsmeadow.
Julia Scott– an administrator for a local solicitors, her husband Cameron, and their two girls – Hannah (8) and Rachael (5), plus their family dog, Sunni – had visited the development and had fallen in love with one of the homes. The family wanted to stay local, and within walking distance of the girls’ school, so they put their existing home on the market.
Julia said: “We wanted to move to a new home – the attraction of easier maintenance, cost efficiencies on our energy bills and the chance to step-up to a larger property were all really appealing. Plus the development being within walking distance of the girl’s school made it a perfect match for us.”
